Zach’s practice is focused on complex commercial litigation and class action litigation. Before joining MSD, he served as a law clerk for Judge David L. Bunning in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky, and as an Assistant Attorney General in the office of Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine. Zach graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2013, magna cum laude and Order of the Coif, where he was a member of the Trial Practice Team and the Law Review.

DEFINING MOMENT

“Outside the courtroom, most of our clients wouldn’t have a chance taking on bigger and better funded opponents. It’s our job at MSD to level the playing field.”

MOTIVATING FACTOR

“What we do affects real clients in their real lives—knowing this motivates me to work harder every day.”

FUNDAMENTAL BELIEF

“When the business model of a law firm is based on clients’ successes, our clients will succeed.”

CREATING VICTORY

“My experience clerking for a federal judge showed me that there is no such thing as a great case—only good cases with great attorneys. Or, unfortunately, good cases with bad attorneys. At MSD, our clients are guaranteed one thing—that they will be represented by great attorneys who are committed to ensuring the best outcome possible.”
